Weekend Randomness

Random pictures from a hit and miss weekend. I've been struck down with the re-emerging bug from hell that I had a couple weeks back, so if any of you are kind enough to make a du'a/pray for me, I would be one grateful mama.

Me Time

Kids in bed. Dishes washed. Crap cleaned.

Ice cubes, elderflower, fabric and sewing machine out and on stand-by.

It's a little bit of heaven, really.

Weekending

When it's HOT HOT HOT and you live nowhere near a beach, there really is only one thing to do:: embed yourself beside a pool all weekend and flake out.

And icecream never hurt anyone.

And if confirmation were needed - it really *is* time to saddle up and get back up north to see my folks sooner rather than later.

A Lazy Weekend

A lazy weekend with lots of sun, lots of outdoor play, lots of gardening, investigating and whole load of nothing after nothing.

Uh, as well as load after load of washing.

Weekending :: Potting & Planning

Time to get those bulbs in. Think I've left it too late for getting trees planted? What do you reckon? Think I could wangle a tree-planting in time?

This year our garden was, for the want of a better word, crap. Really crap. Instead of leaving it to it's own devices or (horror!) to the aesthetics of others, I hope that a bit of planning and a lot of container gardening can add some beauty to our garden in 2010 - think: colour; think: flowers; think; overhaul.
