A Few Treasures
Haven't really been thrifting for a while, and some places have run dry. But a few little finds over the last couple weeks - doilies (of course, because can you ever have too many? No you cannot), vintage bedsheets (ditto),...

well the tea is! havent got around to making cupcakes yet. was hoping to make a nice victoria sponge for iftar, but we went fruit picking instead and after that I just was bouncing off walls. Insha'allah some cakes tomorrow! Hope your fast is going well x

thanks Lisa. Well the fast started today at 3am and ended tonight at 8.39pm, so that's a long time without food or drink. The food is actually OK but by two o'clock I was getting tetchy for an ice cold drink LOL. The boys wanted to fast a little bit too so we could all 'break fast' together in the evening, so they fast from 3.30pm. I tell them they dont have to, but they both enjoy the evening meal so much that they like to.
So, 1 down and 29 more to go!!

Oh so you do the fast everyday for 30 days. I agree - the drinking would be the hardest. I must read up some more on this - it is fascinating to learn new things. Enjoy! Lisa L.

Happy Ramadan. I hope you are having a good month. I'm enjoying catching up on your blog. That cake picture is Phoebe's favourite in all our cookbooks. I always get "Mummy, can we make those pink cakes from the shoes book?" :)

i know. i have to actually prohibit use of that book, because they just sit there salivating...
