March! Hello! Oh, how we have awaited your arrival! And how you blessed us with a glorious spring-like day on your very first day! Giddy with oxygen from all day outdoor play, here are a number of 'firsts' to couple the First of March! :: the first daffodil in the garden, the first and only spring flower in the garden. We thought it deserved a break so we brought it inside for a while.
The first uncurling leaf from our first apple tree.
Surprisingly, the first of the Winter Jasmine (had no show this year til now).
The first outdoor play for a looooooong while. The first time outdoors without jackets for several months.
The first warm day since Autumn. The first blue sky that wasn't followed by snow.
The first bit of silly garden whatnot - patiently looking on from the kitchen sill.
The first, we hope of many, many glorious days of sun. Hello, March - Oh how welcome you are!
That is a very cute little hat on your youngin! It looks handspun and knits up beautifully! Since spring hasn't truly sprung quite yet, I think I forsee an earflap hat in the near future for my kiddo. Enjoy those blue skyies!

so jealous! we've got a few more weeks until the first signs of spring appear here (and a long time before it really gets green). still, it makes me happy to see it on your blog and it reminds me i don't have too much longer to wait.

Right now my LO is in the garden digging up all sorts of things from the sand pit which has been covered in water from the last 3 months! He has unearthed toys, stones, bits of wood, leaves and a whole lot of junk!
Finally i can use the computer in daylight hours!! Am LOVING the sun and being outside :)

Its like a new room has been opened for use. The boys are like uncoiled springs - they are jumping all over the place like new lambs
