The equinox was a rather damp squid here, for many reasons. But still, so glad the Winter has finally been kicked into touch.
Do you celebrate the spring in a special way?
In my witchy days I tried to do some special rituals for the equinox, but now it has degraded, or upgraded, to just being very mindful about the change of the seasons, the feel in the air and the things happening in my garden.
Usually I also get some ëquinox/eastern branches in the house and decorated them (I have the branches, but still need to find the eggs) and of course I'm enjoying the sunshine when we get it (and we had a very sunny Sunday afternoon!).

I was hoping to go picnicing with the babes and visit the farm. It rained and the day was just a miserable affair. Oh well, spring is still here so no harm done ;-)

That would have been fun! Too bad the weather gods don't check their calender...
When the girls were little we used to have a egg-painting-party to celebrate spring/equinox/ostara/eastern (everything merges into one big seasonal party here). They each invited a friend and we had great fun (and pancakes afterwards). I have both pictures of kids in sweaters painting inside and kids in t-shirts painting outside. You just never know...
